UPDATE: The concert and cookout will take place inside the middle school / WAC due to the weather forecast.
It’s back to school time, and this year Timothy is kicking-off the year with a bang. Join us on campus Monday, August 20, for a Brazilian street cookout and a special live concert by Golds. Sponsored by ServiceMaster.
August 20 Schedule of Events:
Elementary school meet the teachers: 4:00–5:30pm. K-6 students and parents are invited to our newly refurbished elementary school. This is a very informal open house format to give students and parents an opportunity to meet and greet their teacher(s) for the year.
Parentpalooza: 4:00–5:30pm. ParentPalooza is a one-stop shop for all things Timothy! Fundraising, community events, busing, cafeteria, spiritwear, and much more! Pick up your student's pre-ordered student supply kits as well.
Middle school load your locker: 5:00–6:30pm. 7th and 8th grade students are invited to an optional Load Your Locker activity from 5:00-6:30pm. This new event gives students an opportunity to organize their lockers before school. (They will also have a chance to do this on the first day of school.)
All ages parent & student Brazilian street cookout & concert: 5:00–6:30pm. UPDATE: We’re still on even though the forecast is bad! Concert and cookout will be relocated inside the middle school / WAC. Listen to Golds perform live while enjoying chimichurri steak, marinated chicken skewers, and those plump little Portuguese sausages. Generously sponsored by ServiceMaster.
HS back to school night: 7:00pm. This event begins in the Huizenga Auditorium and is strongly recommended for freshmen and new students along with one or both parents. All returning students and parents are also welcome to attend. The evening includes information about student iPads, an abbreviated walk-through of a typical day’s schedule, and an informative time in classrooms with the teachers.
